A Dymax 20” Forestry Tree Shear with accumulator is installed on a 20 ton hydraulic excavator. Unit is used in clearing roadways and maintaining country road right-of-ways. Considerable time is saved and exposure to worker compensation claims from manual clearing is reduced. Shear can be equipped with either manual or hydraulic rotator.

The accumulator arm assembly seen above enables the operator to “bunch” cut trees when operating in smaller wood, thereby improving productivity.
