DYMAX TREE SHEAR SHINES AT COLORADO STATE U. DEMO; OFFERS HOPE TO FUELS HAZARD REDUCTION EFFORTS!

A Dymax 14" Forestry Tree Shear was the highlight of a demonstration conducted last fall by Colorado State University, in conjunction with Dymax. The equipment demo clearly showed that a tracked skid steer loader equipped with a Dymax 14" Forestry Tree Shear is the perfect tool for fuels hazard reduction in forested areas.

Often working on 30° slopes, the tracked machine and Dymax tree shear easily handled tough conditions and demonstrated how the selective thinning of heavily forested areas can reduce the risk of forest fires. Attending the demonstration were representatives of the USDA Forest Service, Genesee Community Fire Department, local property owners, Colorado State Forest Service and area contractors. Other demonstrations held since then have shown the same results.
