Adapter Plate Key in Sales of Volvo Compact Loaders!
Over the last 2 years,
12 Volvo dealers in North America have found the Dymax Adapter
Plate a key element in sales of Volvo Compact Loaders.
The
Dymax Adapter Plate is a unique attachment that allows the versatile
Volvo compact loaders to use standard skid steer attachments.
Obviously
not designed for high production applications, the key selling
point is that with the relatively low cost Adapter Plate, the
new owner of a Volvo loader is able to fully utilize his existing
inventory of skid steer attachments. It is particularly useful
for such tools as post hole diggers or snow plows. John Call,
Dymax Sales Manager, brings it into perspective. "Often,
a potential buyer of an L30B asks what he can do with his array
of attachments when he trades in his skid steer loader for a Volvo
compact loader. We encourage dealers to show how the adapter plate
will let him retain many, if not all of his work tools."
Naturally,
the Adapter Plate pushes the center of gravity forward, meaning
that when it is in use, overall machine capacity is reduced, as
static tipping load is lowered. But for many tools, such as blades,
post hole diggers, brooms and other tools that don't lift or load,
this is not a factor.
